I have absolutely no idea as I didn't study Latin at school. I went
down the German route and was really crap at that as well. Actually, my
whole school life was pretty crap academically except for Woodwork and
Art. I opted for Woodwork over Home Economics and blitzed them both.
Girls were forced to be home makers back then. *ugh*
Maths, Physics et al were just a waste of my time. Looking back it was
clear that I was a creative dynamo and there really wasn't any
intervention by teaching staff which was a pity. They could have easily
observed that I was brilliant at things that didn't involve the
sciences or language and could have steered me in better directions.
They failed!
