I been a fan of playing blues style guitar for over 40 years . The advice
can give you is pretty basic. First learn the Pentatonic Minor scale
http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/guitar_scales.php?scch=A&scchnam=Pentatonic+Blues&get2=Get&choice=1
On the web sight it's pretty self explanatory A good starting point is A
scale Pentatonic Minor start at the 5th fret position. Minor is probably a
little better than the blues Pent. to start with. Another thing to remember
you don't have to go a 100 miles an hour learn to blend your notes together
work on the sound, It's all about the fell of the music. Go to any guitar
center and listen to all the people flying up and down the necks most of it
sounds like crap then there will be one person that has a fell for the
music and they will stand out. You should also consider getting your guitar
professionally set up for ease of playing. Well the last thing is you should
find a Good teacher if you haven't already. Anyway have fun Dave
